For this project, Post Company shared a clear conceptual framework early on, outlining a flexible interior for 352 Pier 17 in New York, conceived as a hybrid space for exhibition, events, and brand-driven installations. The proposal was structured around a precise architectural system: a lightweight ceiling grid, robust armatures, and a series of adaptable volumes that could host objects, media, and human interaction.
Our task was to translate this system into a set of visuals that felt spatially convincing, materially precise, and open-ended, rather than overly staged or fixed.
Working from Post Company’s concept deck and detailed render notes, we focused on clarity and restraint. The images needed to communicate how the space works, not just how it looks.
Lighting was kept even and controlled, materials were rendered with minimal contrast, and compositions emphasized proportion, repetition, and negative space. Particular attention was given to the ceiling grid and suspended elements, as these define both the atmosphere and the operational logic of the space, from lighting and projection to hanging objects and temporary installations.
Rather than pushing for dramatic moments, the visuals aim to sit quietly with the architecture. They describe a space that can change over time, accommodate different uses, and remain legible at every scale, from the overall room to the smallest detail. The result is a set of images that support Post Company’s goal: an interior that feels precise but not rigid, minimal but not empty, and ready to be activated by whatever comes next.
